We got a new trailer for the new Zelda: Breath of the Wild DLC Pack 2 – The Champion’s Ballad. It looks amazing, and also, it’s available tonight.

Nintendo is having an amazing year. With the release of the Nintendo Switch, it’s safe to say the company is back on top of the game industry. Along with the Switch, great games have come with it. There’s Super Mario Odyssey, Splatoon 2, ARMS, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, and most importantly, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The game has been out for nine months, and it’s one of the greatest games ever created. If you didn’t have a reason to play the game anymore, you might have one now. At The Game Awards, we got a new trailer for the new DLC Pack 2, The Champion’s Ballad.

From what we’re seeing, this new expansion will add a ton of variety to the already huge game. For example, new shrines, new weapons, new locations and a brand new story. What excites most is that last part. Part of what makes the Zelda series so great is the compelling tale it tells. Breath of the Wild told an interesting tale, but we feel there’s so much more to learn. Thankfully, this expansion pack seems it’ll do just that. We forgot to mention, but Link actually rides a motorcycle in the game. Seems there’ll be no need to get a horse anymore.

"Revali, Mipha, Daruk, and Urbosa fell 100 years ago in an attempt to defend the homes they love. You must rise today. The next installment of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Expansion Pass: The Champions’ Ballad is here. The exhilarating adventure continues!"

From the looks of it, we’ll learn a lot more about Revali, Mipha, Daruk, and Urbosa. We aren’t sure what we’ll be learning exactly, but it looks like we’ll be going back into the past. Maybe there’ll be some present and future story elements as well. One thing we do know is we’ll be putting even more hours into this game.

The Champion’s Ballad will be available tonight.
