Will the Supernatural midseason finale send Sam and Dean to The Bad Place? Here’s how to watch Supernatural season 13, episode 9 live, on TV and online.
Friday brings us the Supernatural midseason finale, and will The CW‘s longest-running series sign off for the year by sending Sam and Dean Winchester to the other side?
Season 13, episode 9 is called “The Bad Place” and that doesn’t inspire us with confidence about how Supernatural season 13 will wrap up before the holidays. Sam and Dean Winchester (Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles) have finally tracked down their new charge Jack (Alexander Calvert). But they may wish they hadn’t, because Jack’s attempt to unleash his powers goes very wrong and puts Sam and Dean in mortal danger.
So much of Supernatural season 13 has been about Jack, so it’s no surprise that the Supernatural midseason finale centers on him as well. But will he be able to get his powers under control, or will he potentially be the undoing of our favorite demon hunters? After all the time they spent trying to help him, it’d be painfully ironic if he wound up hurting them.
Here’s how The CW officially describes the episode:
"Jack, desperate to prove to Sam and Dean that he is good and that he can control his powers, enlists the help of a dreamcatcher named Kaia to help him find Mary Winchester and save her from the alternate universe. However, when plans go awry, the Winchester brothers are the ones who need saving."
