Ed naturally wants to rescue her and his colleagues, but the matter is complicated when Kelly makes a choice that could have adverse effects on the entire planet and put her own neck on the line.

"Ed and Kelly seriously reconsider getting back together. Kelly then makes a decision with unforeseen long-term consequences for the planet, putting Ed in a difficult position."
