1. Manchester City thrash Manchester United

There are a few big games this weekend but the Manchester derby is the biggest. The top two in the league come together in a match that could have a huge bearing on who wins the Premier League title this season.

Manchester City are eight points clear of their city rivals at the top and a win would allow them to lose at least three games and still win the title. Considering City haven’t lost in the league this season it’s reasonable to think they could go the rest of the season undefeated.

Manchester United will know how important this match is and will set up to frustrate a Manchester City side that have scored goals for fun this season. In recent weeks, the Citizens have required late winners to take them past Huddersfield, Southampton and West Ham.

Jose Mourinho will know this and he’ll have pinpointed some holes in the City defense that these lesser teams have managed to exploit. However, we think this game will be decided by attacking firepower more than anything else.

In fact, expect Manchester City to leave Old Trafford with all three points after a humiliation of the Red Devils. Guardiola rested players in the Champions League in midweek so his starting XI will be fresh to come in and tear United apart. A win for United would be good for neutrals with regard to the title race, but it’s hard to see that happening this weekend.
