The Bengals are coming off a strong performance against the Steelers last week even in a loss, and they’ll hope to keep up their pace when they play the Bears.
The Cincinnati Bengals may have come up short against their fiercest rival when they played the Pittsburgh Steelers in a primetime AFC North matchup last week, but they still put on a solid showing in the process. Now, they’ll be looking to try and replicate their offensive success against the Chicago Bears in Week 14.
The Bengals obviously had some disappointment after blowing their lead over the Steelers in Week 13, and it looked like they had a chance for most of the game to sink the Steelers’ hopes for the top seed in the AFC if they could’ve gotten the job done. However, they did a lot well on both sides of the ball in front of their hometown crowd when the Steelers came to town, and they won’t have to change much when the Bears come in on Sunday.
On the other hand, the Bears will need a key defensive performance if they have a chance in this game, with Andy Dalton and AJ Green connecting well for the Bengals at the moment. The Bears offense isn’t good enough for any potential shootout with the Bengals, and they’ll need to take advantage of any mistakes and opportunities if they want the win this week.
Odds: Bengals -6.5, according to Odds Shark

The Bengals are heavy favorites in this one, and rightfully so. Their offense is clicking, they had a strong defensive performance against a powerful Steelers squad last week and they have a lot of momentum. Now, it’s about keeping that up when the Bears come to town.
Cincinnati should take home an easy win on Sunday, liking winning based on a high-scoring offensive effort in a bit of a blowout in Week 14.
Prediction: Bengals 23, Bears 6
