With first place in the AFC West on the line, the Oakland Raiders travel to Kansas City to take on the Chiefs on Sunday afternoon in Week 14.

Back in Week 7 of the 2017 NFL season, the Oakland Raiders played host to the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday Night Football. What ensued was an epic battle, won by the Raiders on a last-second throw by Derek Carr to Michael Crabtree. The win was the second straight for the Chiefs after starting out 5-0, and it seems the team has not been the same since. On Sunday, the two teams will battle it out with first place on the line in the AFC West.

The Chiefs will be shorthanded in the secondary, as Marcus Peters was suspended by the team for one-game on Wednesday. Peters threw a flag into the stands during the team’s loss to the New York Jets last weekend, and left the game without being suspended. For Oakland, they will at least get Crabtree back for the game, as they had to go without both him and Amari Cooper in their 24-17 win against the New York Giants in Week 13.

The Chiefs have fallen on hard times since their 5-0 start, and with four wins in their last six games,  the Raiders have tied them atop the AFC West with four games to  go.

It has been an incredible fall for the Chiefs, who many believed would be a Super Bowl contender after their hot start. They will try to get back on the winning track against the Raiders, who have been in must-win mode since being at 2-4 to start the season. They have been very inconsistent this season, and playing inside Arrowhead Stadium is never easy, so expect a close one between these two rivals on Sunday.
