With Aaron Rodgers working his way back to the field, the Packers are now an interesting team to follow in the NFC race as they play the Browns in Week 14.
The Green Bay Packers may have seemed down and out for the last few weeks with Aaron Rodgers away from the offense, but they have quickly turned into one of those sneaky teams as the end of the season approaches and Rodgers prepares to return to action.
The NFC is, without a doubt, the better conference in the league at the moment, which makes it that much crazier that the Packers even have a shot at making the postseason. It’ll take a serious streak to get there, and likely an immediate return to the Rodgers of old when he takes the field, but the cheeseheads could be in for a treat if everything falls in their favor.
Then, on the complete opposite side of the spectrum, there are the Cleveland Browns. While the Packers have a ton of excitement for the rest of their season, the Browns don’t have much to look forward to at the moment. They remain winless through 13 weeks of the season, and it doesn’t look promising for them to get a win at any point in their last four games of the year.
Odds: Packers -3, according to Odds Shark
Somehow, the Packers are just three point favorites over a team with no wins on their record through 12 games, even with Rodgers still not playing on Sunday. Brett Hundley has proven himself as a solid quarterback in the meantime, and the Browns likely won’t be able to stop him on Sunday.
I see this one getting ugly from the get-go, with the Packers taking a big win on the road before their savior returns to the field next week.
Prediction: Packers 27, Browns 13
