The Titans will look to gain some ground in their hunt for an AFC South title when they travel to play the Cardinals on Sunday in a key Week 14 battle.

The Tennessee Titans don’t seem like a team that should be in the hunt for a divisional title at the moment, let alone a team that’s a miracle away from a first round bye in the playoffs if things fell in their favor. However, that’s where the AFC is currently at, and it makes this game in Glendale on Sunday that much more important.

The Titans will travel to play the Arizona Cardinals in the late slate on Sunday afternoon, kicking off an important stretch for the Titans as they look to take the AFC South crown with just four games left in the year. Week 14 will be a pivotal one for every team in the playoff hunt, but the Titans have a ton of stakes to play for with their current tie with the Jacksonville Jaguars for first place in the division.

Unfortunately, the Cardinals won’t have the same motivation to play well on Sunday, as they find themselves down four games to the Los Angeles Rams for first place in the NFC West, and even three games behind the Seahawks for second place. Their playoff hopes have been shattered, and now they’ll just look to give someone else that same disappointment when the Titans come to town.

Odds: Titans -3, according to Odds Shark

The Titans may not be the most stellar team in the AFC playoff hunt, and are really only in the race because of how poor the conference is as a whole. However, they’re still in postseason contention, and they should be getting more respect than just being three-point favorites over the Cardinals in Week 14.

I see the Titans taking this one in a two-possession game, and likely gaining some ground on the Jaguars in the process.

Prediction: Titans 24, Cardinals 10
