Washington Redskins vs. Los Angeles Chargers live stream: How to watch
By Brad Weiss
In a matchup between two teams still alive in the playoff hunt, the Los Angeles Chargers will play host to the Washington Redskins on Sunday.
The Los Angeles Chargers started off the 2017 NFL season with an 0-4 record, and many figured this team would be the same old Chargers. However, first-year head coach Anthony Lynn let everybody know that was not the case, and the team has followed that up by going 6-2 in their last eight games. The Bolts currently sit atop the AFC West in a tie with both the Kansas City Chiefs and Oakland Raiders at 6-6, and they may be the hottest team in the entire conference right now.
For Washington, the expectation was that they would fight for the NFC East title this season, but they have fallen short of expectations. Quarterback Kirk Cousins is doing everything he can to will this team to wins, but talent just is not there on the offensive side of the ball. The Redskins have had ten day to prepare for the Chargers, as they last played during a blowout loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday Night Football to kick off Week 13.

Kickoff begins at 4:05pm ET, and it will feature two teams who are still alive in their respective playoff hunts. The Chargers are playing at such a high level right now, and have shown that they can be a contender in the AFC. Washington will have to shake off their recent drubbing at the hands of the Cowboys, and will have to travel West once again to boot.

The Chargers are playing too well right now to lose this game, though it should be a close one. Cousins is a master at keeping his team in games, and despite the playmakers on the offensive side of the ball, he can put up points. Los Angeles will look to pressure Cousins with the elite tandem of Melvin Ingram and Joey Bosa, and they should have their way with the Redskins offensive line in this one.
