FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 9, 2017
High Salary SG
James Harden, HOU at POR ($11,200): The Trail Blazers are first against the position in their last 15 games, but Harden is Harden. His numbers were down against the Jazz, but it’s unreasonable to think that he’ll be at three assists again. Points are rarely an issue for Harden and his assist numbers should be back up to eight-plus in this one. The Trail Blazers might do well against opposing shooting guards and their defense might rank third in the league, but Bradley Beal dropped 50 on them and there’s been no slowing the Houston offense this season. ****
Bradley Beal, WAS at LAC ($8,700): After struggling a bit without John Wall, Beal has found his way in the last two games. He had 55.6 fantasy points against the Trail Blazers and followed that up with 45.4 fantasy points against the Suns. The Clippers rank last against the position in their last 15 games. Beal doesn’t provide much value outside of his scoring, but he can score at a high level and has been doing so in his last two. ****
Donovan Mitchell, UTA at MIL ($7,400): Mitchell remains on fire over the last couple of weeks. He’s been over 32 fantasy points in four of his last five, only missing five for five due to a blowout against Washington. The Jazz offense now runs through him and he’s responded with big scoring games. As he gets more comfortable running the offense and starts to develop a chemistry with Rudy Gobert, expect his assist numbers to rise as well. He had 39.8 fantasy points in 29 minutes against the Bucks back on Nov. 25. ****
