Tottenham have been in a slide in the Premier League since late October. Their only win in the last six contests came against Crystal Palace, a 1-0 victory at home. Mauricio Pochettino’s side has two points in their last four as well. They’ve lost to rivals Arsenal and Leicester, while drawing lowly West Brom and Watford. What’s even more concerning for the squad is their lack of goals in this stretch as well. Tottenham have only scored four goals in the last six including two from Harry Kane. This slide has seen them drop to sixth in the table, only ahead of Burnley on goal differential.
Tottenham will face off against Stoke, who have had their own struggles lately. They picked up a win against last-placed Swansea, which was their first in their last five. Stoke have only won five points away from home this season, and a trip to Wembley against a top six side likely isn’t the answer to their woes. Most concerning to them is that they’ve given up the second most goals in the Premier League, which is slightly out of character.
