With the fifth week of the college basketball season in the books, here’s what the AP Top 25 rankings might look like for Week 6.

The college basketball season is rolling right along and we are entering the sixth week of the year with plenty to talk about from Week 5. It was one of the crazier weeks in recent memory as five of the top-10 teams in the country went down with an upset loss.

One of those top-10 teams, Kansas, lost two games in Week 5 via upset. In fact, the Jayhawks had an opportunity to make a case for the No. 1 spot in the rankings, but they lost two games. The first was at home against Washington and again in Lawrence on Sunday against Arizona State. They will likely drop a ways in the rankings this week.

The nation’s No. 1 team, Duke, also fell via upset, losing at Boston College on Saturday afternoon which shocked the nation. The Blue Devils were unbeaten through the first month, but the Eagles pulled off the unthinkable.

The upset train continued as Florida also lost two games, one of which came against Loyola (IL) at home. The other came against in-state rival Florida State by double-digits. Were the Gators potentially overrated?

It’s tough to tell how good any team really is this week after the slew of upsets. What we do know, though, is that there will be a new No. 1 in the rankings.

Here’s a look at what the Week 6 AP Top 25 for college basketball should look like.
