DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 10, 2017
High Salary SG
Victor Oladipo, IND vs DEN ($9,000): Oladipo had 54 fantasy points against the Cavaliers and projects to do just as well against the Nuggets. The Denver defense has been bad on the road all season and they rank 26th against the position in their last 15 games. While Cory Joseph can fill in nicely for Darren Collison, it likely means a high usage rate for Oladipo. Thaddeus Young and Lance Stephenson are also questionable. If all three are out, Oladipo will pick up a lot of the slack with his scoring and playmaking ability. *****
DeMar DeRozan, TOR at SAC ($8,400): DeRozan’s home/road splits are very troubling. He’s averaging 42.5 FPPG at home, but just 35.2 FPPG on the road. It’s encouraging that he had 43.75 fantasy points on Friday against the Grizzlies. The Kings are 20th against the position in their last 15 games. DeRozan always gets his shots in the Raptors offense and he can make up value with his rebounding and playmaking if he’s not scoring. But make no mistake about it, his value comes through scoring. ***
Jimmy Butler, MIN vs DAL ($7,800): Butler needs 35 fantasy points to hit value. He’s been at that number or better in four straight, hitting 40+ in each of those contests. He’s averaging 30.9 fantasy points in two games against Dallas this year and the Mavericks are second against the position in their last 15 games. I don’t expect him to have four points against Dallas like had in their Nov. 4 meeting, which is a big reason for his less than stellar average. Given his ability to do everything, he should be at value at worst. ***
