High Value PF

Dario Saric, PHI at NO ($6,400): Part of Saric’s value is tied to the status of Robert Covington. If Covington doesn’t play, Saric will likely see increased shot opportunities. There will also be a few more rebounds to go around and Saric has rebounded the ball at a very high level for nearly a month now. He’s also had 4+ assists in three of his last four games. Even with Covington in the lineup, I like Saric to be at value. If Covington is sidelined, Saric should have a big 35+ fantasy point game. ****

Jayson Tatum, BOS at DET ($6,000): It’s possible that Marcus Morris is held out of Sunday’s contest as the Celtics look to rest him following his early season injury. If that’s the case Tatum is the most likely to benefit. Tatum is a good scorer who doesn’t need a lot of shots to get points thanks to his ability to get to the free throw line. He’s also a good rebounder. He had 21.6 fantasy points on Nov. 27 against the Pistons, but no Morris means he should be at value at worst. He’s been over 30 fantasy points in three of his last four. ****

Domantas Sabonis, IND vs DEN ($4,900): If Thaddeus Young, Bojan Bogdanovic, Lance Stephenson, and Darren Collison all miss Sunday’s contest, Sabonis could be a big beneficiary. He should see the minutes that Young typically occupies, but his offensive opportunities will increase thanks to his well-rounded scoring ability. The Nuggets are 28th against the position in their last 15 games and Sabonis has the ability to put up numbers in all offense categories. *****
