High Salary PG
Russell Westbrook, OKC vs CHA ($11,000): The Hornets rank fourth against the position in their last 15 games, but they’ve been terrible against point guards in their last two games. Kris Dunn and Jordan Clarkson put up monster numbers against a struggling Hornets defense. Westbrook hasn’t shot well in recent games, but he’s a volume scorer who also gets assists and rebounds. He needs 50.9 fantasy points to hit value. His lowest output since Nov. 20 was been 49.25 fantasy points. There’s a good chance he’ll hit value and he’s always a 60+ fantasy point threat. ****
Kyle Lowry, TOR at LAC ($8,300): Lowry had his third straight 40+ fantasy point game on Sunday, clocking in at 43 fantasy points against the Kings. He’s had a double-double in two of his last three and continues to provide consistent numbers in all categories for the Raptors. The Clippers are a defensive mess right now, ranking 29th in the league in team defense. They are 14th against point guards in their last 15 games, but the eye test tells a different story and Lowry is playing too well right now to not bet on him. ****
Damian Lillard, POR at GS ($9,200): Lillard has posted three straight 50+ fantasy point games. He’s been hot from beyond the arc and his assist numbers are up in his last four games. The Warriors are 27th against point guards in their last 15 games. Lillard typically raises his game in these important matchups and I expect him to do the same in this contest. Lillard can score in a hurry and should be at value (42.6 fantasy points) at worst. ***
