Star Wars: The Last Jedi will hit theaters soon, but don’t try to illegally view it at home.
On Friday, Star Wars: The Last Jedi will hit theaters. It took two years to get to this movie, after the events of The Force Awakens, but the aftermath will be shown, with more developments that surround this two-hour, 31-minute movie. Look for something special here, especially if the early reactions mean anything.
Seeing The Last Jedi means going to your local cinema, right? With everything that airs on television at everyone’s fingertips, some may look to watch it online, almost like a “live stream,” to avoid spending the $10-plus it may cost to see the latest Star Wars movie in theaters.
Whatever you do, please don’t try this. Sure, leaving home during this time of the year can be cold, bleak and uncomfortable, leading to plenty of nights inside. If you don’t have interest in leaving your house to watch The Last Jedi, then wait for it to go on DVD, Blu-Ray or Netflix. Don’t be the person who tries to forgo this and the movie theaters.
Given the quick turnaround for movies to be released outside of theaters, if you really don’t want to watch The Last Jedi at your local cinema, then waiting another two months won’t be the end of the world. Of course, if you do this, spoilers are inevitable. You’re better off leaving your house to watch this, with your friends and family, and make it a fun night. Plus, it’s viewing on a larger screen and, in some cases, IMAX or 3D.
