Mike McGlinchey

Offensive Tackle, Notre Dame

The Denver Broncos looked to be a serious contender at the beginning of the season, as it looked like their elite defense would lead them to another playoff run. However, the wheel have fallen off in recent weeks, and it looks like there will be plenty of questions heading into the offseason. The Broncos did get a pretty sound win against the New York Jets this past weekend, but that is only a small silver lining in an otherwise disappointing season.

First-year head coach Vance Joseph is already on the hot seat, and he has been out-coached plenty of times this season. The organization may look to go another route, but the odds are John Elway will give him at least another year to figure it out. On offense, the line has been atrocious this season, and that is where they should draft come next April.

Last year, the Broncos took an offensive tackle in the first round, and they should look to do the same in 2018. This draft class is loaded with tremendous offensive tackles, and Mike McGlinchey is the best of the bunch. When it comes to players ready to step in and be a dominant player at the next level, McGlinchey is the one offensive tackle who I believe could be a starting left tackle from Day one. These Broncos need all the help they can get up front.
