In an NFC North matchup on Saturday night, the Chicago Bears will travel to the Motor City to take on the Detroit Lions inside Ford Field.

The Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears will kick off the 2017 Saturday night slate this weekend, as it will be an NFC North matchup inside Ford Field. The Bears finally got a win last week, as they snapped a five-game slide by beating the Cincinnati Bengals on the road. Rookie quarterback Mitchell Trubisky had his best game as a pro, and will look to ride that momentum into his team’s divisional date with the Lions on Saturday.

For Detroit, they are still alive in the NFC Playoff race, but they cannot afford a setback against the Bears. Last weekend, the Lions beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on the road, but will get to head home to the friendly confines of Ford Field in this one. The Lions beat the Bears when they met up last month, taking care of Chicago on the road by the score of 27-24.

Quarterback Matthew Stafford shook off an injured hand to play well against the Bucs last weekend, and will need to play well again on Saturday, as the Bears defense has looked better this season. The Lions should win, but this is going to be a close one.
