Can MoviePass users see Star Wars: The Last Jedi with their monthly subscription?

The most anticipated film of the year finally hits theaters this Thursday. Star Wars: The Last Jedi will hit screens everywhere, and that means fans will be rushing to see their favorite film saga on the big screen yet again.

This is the eighth film for the franchise and ninth overall, including Rogue One. Box office projections for this one are high as expected, especially considering the film grossed $2 Billion the last go around in 2015.

There’s a bit of a new wrinkle attached this time around however. Fans with a MoviePass subscription will be able to see The Last Jedi in theaters as part of their individual monthly plan that they pay.

MoviePass is a subscription that allows users to pay a monthly fee and in return they can go to the movies as many times as they want that month. For those wondering if there will be any blackouts in regards to certain screenings, The Last Jedi can be seen via the subscription.

Following the events of The Force Awakens, this film will pick up directly where it left off. The last film ended with Rey finding Luke Skywalker. With a much anticipated release, it will be interesting to see if this film can come close to matching the numbers of the last one.

Advanced ticket sales will have many places booked up for the weekend, but MoviePass will allow users to see it as many times as they want this month should they able to find a showing with open seats.
