The Last Jedi has finally come and unfurled its greatness upon the masses, but how long do fans have to wait until the next Star Wars movie?
Fans have been waiting for the release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi pretty much since the conclusion of The Force Awakens. The eighth installment (not counting Rogue One) in the saga is one of the most highly anticipated films in quite some time. And now it has finally arrived, doing so with much praise and fanfare from the rabid fanbase.
The Last Jedi picks up where Episode VII left off, with Rey, Luke Skywalker, Kylo Ren and plenty of other new and old characters all continuing the fight between the Resistance and the First Order. However, one thing that has really raised the excitement level about this movie has been the mysteries and questions waiting to be solved and answered.
Well, now all those desires for more information can finally be quelled. We’ll learn more information about Snoke, about who “The Last Jedi” actually is, and carry on the Star Wars saga in new and exciting ways.
The thing about fans of the franchise, though, is that there can never be enough. And ever since the entity of LucasFilm was purchased by Disney, they have been meeting that demand, with Rogue One standing as a prime example of that. However, there is much, much more on the way. Thus, that begs the question of when the next Star Wars film will be released.
Next up for the franchise will be the much anticipated Solo, which will follow the life of young Han Solo and should be a fun exploration into expanding the Star Wars universe. Even luckier for fans, they may not have to wait that long for it as it is slated to be released on May 25, 2018.
