We’re getting ready to see the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills square off at Orchard Park. Which team will prevail in this contest?
Following five consecutive losses, the Miami Dolphins have rebounded with home wins over the Denver Broncos and the New England Patriots. The latter came this past Monday night courtesy of a 27-20 triumph that ended the Pats’ eight-game winning streak. At 6-7, Adam Gase’s clubs is still alive for a playoff spot in the disappointing AFC.
Speaking of the conference and the postseason, the 7-6 Buffalo Bills are very much in the thick of things as well. A 13-7 home overtime win last Sunday in a blizzard put the team back above .500. Sean McDermott’s club closes with two games against the ‘Fins in a three-week span and those games flank a visit to Foxborough to face the Patriots.
So are either of these clubs ready to run the table and possibly get in the playoffs? This figures to be a fascinating clash in a series that was swept by the Dolphins a year ago.

As of press time, there was no line available (via OddsShark) for this key divisional encounter between the Dolphins and Bills. That’s due to the uncertainty surrounding quarterback Tyrod Taylor, who gave way to Nathan Peterman last Sunday. The rookie signal-caller made his second start against the Colts.

The Miami Dolphins have been a streaky team throughout this season. And while the team’s defense remains very suspect, Cutler and his stable of running backs and receivers can help control the clock and keep Ndamukong Suh and Cameron Wake fresh and off the field. Regardless of who is playing quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, he may have very limited opportunities to produce points.
Pick: Dolphins 23, Bills 21
