Boise State faces off against Oregon in the 2017 Las Vegas Bowl on Saturday, December 16. Watch the Las Vegas Bowl on TV and online.
The Boise State Broncos come into the 2017 Las Vegas Bowl with a 10-3 record but they will have to stay sharp against the 7-5 Oregon Ducks. Though the Ducks’ record might not be pretty, the Ducks’ offense can get the job done against Boise State.
Boise struggled at the end of the season, narrowly knocking off Fresno State 17-14 on December 2 in the Mountain West title game after losing to the Bulldogs 17-28 on November 25. The Mountain West Champions are making their 16th straight bowl appearance and the struggling Ducks are the perfect Pac-12 team to face in Las Vegas as the Broncos lead in all stats including, most impressively, 291 passing yards compared to the Ducks’ 179.
The Ducks haven’t played since their November 25 69-10 barnburner win over Oregon State. Oregon looks to close their 2017 with a bowl game victory after a dismal 2016 season that knocked them out of bowl season for the first time since 2004. Quarterback Justin Herbert is healthy and ready to lead the team to victory; Herbert has helped the team average 52 points per game since his return, giving the Ducks some much-needed confidence heading into this game.
