We are now to the part of college football bowl season where we have one bowl a day until Friday. Then we begin the part of multiple college football games every day. If you are a college football fan, there isn’t much better than this! Next up is the Cheribundi Tart Cherry Boca Raton Bowl.

However, for the rest of the bowl season, you will get my picks against the spread and point wagers just like I did all season long. I had a solid regular season, but I can make it look a whole lot better with a strong bowl season!

The Zips have a good quarterback in Thomas Woodson, but the good news ends there. None of the five running backs that got regular carries were able to take over the starting job. It makes life difficult for the rest of the offense when you can’t run the ball. The Zips likely wont have much luck trying to run on the Owls either.

How in the world did this team lose to Buffalo?? It was a rough start for the Lane Train, as the Owls went 1-3 in September. They haven’t lost since. In fact, the offense hasn’t scored less than 30 in a game since the second game of the season. Devin Singletary is a special back. He scored a staggering 29 touchdowns this year!

Prediction:

The Owls are not the only team to have a home game for a bowl. Personally, I think the NCAA should adopt the same policy as the NCAA tournament does: you can’t play a tournament game on your own court. This obviously puts Akron at a disadvantage. They were already behind the eight ball facing this offense. This gets ugly. That’s a lot of points, but FAU can score with the best.
