High Value SF

Courtney Lee, NY at CHA ($6,000): Lee has hit value in 79 percent of games this season. The last time his salary was this high, he bottomed out with 5.4 fantasy points. Maybe that’s concerning for some, but not me. He’s the best perimeter option on the Knicks and will continue to be the best perimeter option as long as Tim Hardaway Jr. is sidelined. Most of his value is tied to scoring, but he is solid in every category. ***

Trevor Ariza, HOU vs UTA ($5,400): Speaking of consistent players, Ariza has hit value in 73 percent of games. He’s not overwhelming in any one category like Lee can be, but he gets his points and rebounds without much trouble. It should come as no surprise that he’s averaging 24.3 fantasy points in two games against the Jazz this season. That number is exactly what he’s averaging for the season. You know what you’re getting with Ariza and guaranteed points never hurt. ***

Josh Richardson, MIA at ATL ($5,500): Richardson has been at value or better in four straight. He’s had back-to-back 30+ fantasy point games. Not only does Richardson have the highest usage rates e of any Miami player in their last five games, but this is a great matchup for him. The Hawks are 29th against the position in their last 15 games. Most of his value is tied to his scoring, but he does pitch in with rebounds. ***
