More from DraftKings

DraftKings has brought the Euro League state side! They even have an app where we can watch the games that our picks are involved in!

The Euro league is a different animal. It is much more halfcourt oriented than the NBA game. The games are also eight minutes shorter. There are 16 teams in the Euro League instead of 30. That means a more shallow player pool to choose from.

Luka Doncic getting tossed yesterday cost me a pretty big day. I had a solid 131.75 even with him getting the boot. My other lineup placed with a score of 145.25

The winning lineup was up to 178.25. He used Bojan Dubljevic at just 7.7% ownership to gain separation and had the great value with Singleton and Trey Thompkins.

Guards:

There is solid value at guard today, but a steep drop off after that, mostly due to matchups. The return of Andrew Goudelock hurt the value of Jordan Theodore, and took the value play of Curtis Jerrells off the board as well. Don’t worry…..there is still value out there.

Alexey Shved ($14,600): This is a huge price tag, but unlike yesterday, we have very few options to fade Shved for. Nando de Colo and Sergio Rodriguez have a very tough matchup with Olympiacos. I already touched on Theodore and Goudelock. The only one I would really consider is Granger or….

Nemanja Nedovic ($8,900): But why sacrifice Shved for Nedovic if you don’t have to? If you take out the game in which he was injured, Nedovic has six straight games of 22 or more DraftKings points. He plays big minutes and is the leading scorer for Unicaja. Nedovic slides in nicely as a second guard option today.

Janis Strelnieks ($6,000): I do like Strelnieks, but this is a really tough matchup. CSKA Moscow is the best team in the league against guards. Strelnieks will still be widely used, but I am going a little deeper into the bargain bin today. Wish me luck!

Matt Janning ($4,600): Janning has been playing well with the exception of a horrible game against Istanbul at the end of November. His high mark on the season is 24.5 DraftKings points, and that is the only time he has topped 20. That said, I will take 18 or 19 for this price so I can afford a decent frontcourt.

Forwards:

Vladimir Stimac ($11,100): Both Stimac and Dunston are solid plays against Khimki tonight. Khimki has had issues on the interior for most of the season. If you can fit one or both in your lineups, that’s a good place to start. However, it’s tough to do if you play Shved.

Malcolm Thomas ($7,700): I plan on taking full advantage of the injury to Thomas Robinson today. That has opened the door for both Thomas and Anthony Gill to have larger roles in the offense. Gill was huge last round against Unicaja. I like both Thomas and Gill to stack tonight if you can’t afford Stimac and Dunston.

Kaleb Tarczewski ($6,800): Tarczweski has been a solid contributor up front for Milan. Baskonia presents a pretty good matchup for him as well. Tarczewski has been between 18 and 22 in every round since round 3. He is about as consistent as they come, but he does lack significant upside.

Tyler Honeycutt ($5,900): If you need to go really cheap, then Honeycutt could be where you need to look. Thomas and Gill are the big producers up front, but Honeycutt has been around for three rounds, and has topped 15 DraftKings points each time.
