Terrific Tweet: Kobe Bryant

While I tried to figure out how to get the Kobe Bryant jersey retirement into the weekly awards, the Lakers Twitter account sent out a fantastic message that resonated with fans across the NBA.

Growing up, I was never the biggest Kobe Bryant fan. Living close to Sacramento, I rooted hard for the Kings in the early 2000s and Bryant and O’Neal killed the Kings in that era of basketball.

Seeing this tweet, I was able to re-live some of the greatest moments that Bryant has had against every franchise. I think every basketball fan should spend some time re-living the greatness that was displayed by No. 8 and No. 24 for the purple and gold.

He struck fear in every team every time that he stepped on the court. This terrific tweet from the Lakers account was able to quickly show some of the amazing plays that Kobe was a part of.
