But the two-hour season finale, which starts an hour later at 9 p.m., has a lot to do before it tells you the results. As is usual with most reality TV shows, the finale is packed full of performances by guest artists to keep audiences tuned in until the envelope is opened. On Tuesday night, Alicia Keys and Kelly Clarkson will appear as NBC hypes up the fact that they’ll be coaching in season 14, which is only two months away.
The last episode of this season will also include performances by Demi Lovato, Charlie Puth, Sia, and former coach Pharrell Williams with his band N.E.R.D. So if you want to watch an hour and 45 minutes of musical performances from artists with new music to promote, then this is how you’ll want to spend your Tuesday. And if you want to find out if Adam Levine and Addison Agen can upset Team Blake, that’ll happen too.
