Josh Jackson

Defensive Back, Iowa

Heading into Week 15, there was plenty of talk as to whether or not the Los Angeles Rams were for real. Sure, they have been a feel-good story this season, but could they go into Seattle and beat the Seahawks in a playoff-like atmosphere? Well, the Rams certainly quieted whatever doubters they may have had left, as they went into the Northwest and throttle the Seahawks by the score of 42-7.

On offense, this team has been a revelation, as second-year quarterback Jared Goff is showing why the franchise took him first overall in 2016. Running back Todd Gurley II has played at an MVP level, and has shaken off the bad thoughts of a down sophomore season last year. This offense is a juggernaut, and with so much talent on the defensive line, it is going to be hard to beat them come playoff time.

When it comes time to draft, the Rams will be picking late in round one, but that does not mean they cannot fill a hole on their defense. Los Angeles needs help in the secondary, and Josh Jackson from Iowa is one of the best pure cornerbacks we have seen in a while. Jackson led the nation in interceptions, and at some points during the season, teams just stopped throwing to his side. The Rams need help back there, and Jackson can provide that.
