Courtland Sutton

Wide Receiver, SMU

All of a sudden, the San Francisco 49ers look like a team to beat in the NFC West. OK, maybe I am getting ahead of myself, but the team has won three straight since inserting Jimmy Garoppolo in as the starting quarterback. Jimmy G is only on contract this season, so inking him will be the No. 1 priority for the team this offseason, and you can believe the 49ers are going to do everything they can to keep him in the red and gold.

When it comes to draft day, the 49ers will be picking early in round one, as they lost 9 of their first ten games. If they do pick within the top-five picks, they should look to add a quality wide receiver to their offense. Keeping Garoppolo is definitely the priority, but making sure he has enough weapons around him has also got be high on the list of things to do this offseason in San Francisco.

Courtland Sutton from SMU is the best wide receiver in this draft class, and is someone who is going to come right in and demand the best cornerback covering him. He has the size to go up and get the jump balls, and is not afraid to go over the middle. In addition, he has great speed, and hands, making him arguably the most well-rounded wideout this draft class has to offer.
