The Ohio State Buckeyes have announced their early National Signing Day class for 2018.
When it comes to recruiting, Urban Meyer continues to stack the Ohio State Buckeyes with talent for the future and beyond. The Big Ten Champion Buckeyes pulled in plenty of top talent in last year’s recruiting class and are poised to do so again this year.
In 2017, the Buckeyes replenished their secondary after losing three talented prospects to the pros. This year, the Buckeyes are once again adding to that strength and have commitments at the moment from three safeties.
Jaiden Woodbey, Tyreke Johnson and Josh Proctor should all join what is yet another talented secondary filled with the top recruits in the nation. Woodbey is a five-star safety and will carry plenty of attention.
As for the top recruit on their commit list at the moment, Taron Vincent is a five-star defensive tackle and the 13th best player overall nationally. While they have added a ton of talent to the secondary, it is the defensive line where the program makes their name. It’s one of the deepest position groups in all of college football. The amount of five-star prospects once again is paying dividends for the Buckeyes.
247sports has them with the top recruiting class at the moment and rounding out this class with more talent should keep Meyer’s team atop the rankings.

The amount of five-star prospects they’ve been able to bring in over these last two classes is going to keep them in the College Football Playoff hunt each season.
Although they fell short this year, the Buckeyes have finished the season strong with a conference title and are now gearing up for the Cotton Bowl against USC. Going out with a bang will certainly help them in the recruiting process.
