The Ravens and Colts will battle in Baltimore on Saturday on a special edition of Thursday Night Football to kick off a big Week 16 in the NFL.

The Baltimore Ravens are on the outside looking in on the wild card race in the AFC as they head into Week 16, but they could hop right into the fray if they pull out the win at home against the Indianapolis Colts.

Three teams vying for the fifth and sixth seeds in the AFC are sitting with 8-6 records, but tiebreakers place the Ravens in the seventh spot. They boast one of the top defenses in the league, and always seem to turn it on towards the end of the season and in the playoffs, but they’ll need to win out if they want to make it into this postseason.

Meanwhile, the Colts are well out of the race with their 3-11 record at the bottom of the AFC South, and the only reason they’re not the worst in the conference is because the Cleveland Browns are winless. However, they can add a nice note to their season if they pull out a win on the road in Baltimore on Saturday afternoon.

Odds: Ravens -13.5, according to Odds Shark

This one may turn into a blowout based on the odds set for the matchup, and the Ravens defense may make it tough for the Colts to even have a chance of making this game close. However, the Ravens offense hasn’t been spectacular recently with their lackluster list of talent on that side of the ball, so anything could happen.

I see this game being a one-possession contest with the weird start time on Saturday, but the Ravens should still pull this one out at home with their solid defense.

Prediction: Ravens 23, Colts 16
