In a battle of two teams going nowhere in 2017, the Chicago Bears will play host to the Cleveland Browns inside Soldier Field on Sunday afternoon.
The Chicago Bears looked great two weeks ago, as they went to Cincinnati and blasted the Bengals by the score of 33-7. Rookie quarterback Mitchell Trubisky had his best game of the season, and showed why the team selected him so early in the first round last April. This past weekend, Chicago was beaten pretty soundly by the Detroit Lions, showing once again that they have a long way to go.
On the other side of the coin, their opponent, the Cleveland Browns, are once again one of the worst teams in history. At 0-14, the Browns could join the Lions as being the only winless team through a 16-game schedule in league history, which is not the kind of history they want to be making. Cleveland is likely headed to two of the top five picks in the NFL Draft next April, so hopefully, help is on the way.

Kickoff begins at 1:00pm ET, and while neither of these teams are likely to go to the playoffs this season, it will at least feature two young quarterbacks looking to prove they are the future for their respective franchise. Trubisky was drafted No. 2 overall in 2017, so he is likely safe, though Kizer is likely playing for his job as the starter in Cleveland moving forward.

The move to stay with Kizer at quarterback is a smart one, as the Browns need to know for sure what direction they are going to go in with the top pick next April. Chicago plays good defense, and can run the ball with anybody, so they have the bones needed to be a relevant team in the near future. Trubisky needs to get better every week, and he will have every opportunity he needs this Sunday to exploit a very bad Browns defense.
