For this week’s NBA Rookie Ladder, we’re looking at the Christmas lists for a few different NBA rookies.

The holidays are upon us and that means by now we should know a fair amount about the players drafted in the 2017 NBA Draft. While it is still too early to truly define what these rookies will eventually turn into by the end of their careers, it isn’t going to stop people from making proclamations. However, this week the Rookie Ladder is going a more festive route.

‘Tis the season to unwrap presents and sit in front of your TV/Laptop/Tablet/Mobile Device and watch 12 and a half straight hours of NBA basketball! Christmas is just a few days away and in the spirit of the holiday’s NBA Rookie Ladder has a Christmas exclusive today. Santa makes a list and he checks it twice, but what isn’t as well known is that NBA players make list of their own as well. We were lucky enough to get our hands on the Christmas Wish List of five current NBA rookies. These players range from benchwarmers all the way to future faces of franchises. Being that these guys play a sport for a living, most of their wishes and wants are jaded towards basketball, but a select few did actually give some quality gift ideas that you too could get for that special someone in your life — as long as you are a multimillionaire.

Enjoy this special peak behind the curtains of the life of NBA players and comment on what you think some of the other players in this class should ask St. Nick for this year. I’m sure there is a player or two who’s list we didn’t get our hands on that you all would love to know about.

Without further ado, we kick this list off with a name that a majority of the NBA fan base might have forgotten about already.
