High Value SG
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, LAL vs POR ($5,700): Caldwell-Pope continues to be a consistent fantasy play. He had 28.74 fantasy points against the Warriors on Friday and has hit value in 85 percent of contests this season. He had 24.75 fantasy points against the Trail Blazers on Nov. 2. That number would put him right around value on Saturday night. I like him to be around 30 fantasy points given the matchup. The Trail Blazers are 27th against the position in their last 15 games. Caldwell-Pope can do a little bit of everything, including chipping in defensively. ****
Shabazz Napier, POR at LAL ($5,100): No Damian Lillard means Napier should see an increase in minutes once again. He was great against the Nuggets on Friday, scoring 33 fantasy points in 37 minutes. He’ll likely see 30+ minutes against on Saturday. The Lakers are a tough matchup, ranking fourth against the position in their last 15 games. Napier averaging 1.01 FPPM when he plays over 25 minutes. He can do a little bit of everything for your fantasy team. ***
Caris LeVert, BKN at IND ($5,200): LeVert had 29 fantasy points against the Pacers a week ago. He’s continued to be a good value play off the Nets bench this season. He scores in bunches, can knockdown threes, rebound well, and pick up assists. He’s been a consistent play, hitting value in 65 percent of games, but only posting a dud rating in 10 percent of contests. The back-to-back is a bit concerning given that he’s missed value in three of five contests in the second game of the back-to-back. I still like him to be around value and he’s proven he can go over 30+ fantasy points on any given night. ***
