High Value SF
Carmelo Anthony, OKC at UTA ($5,900): Anthony may have figured out his role in Oklahoma City. He’s been over 30 fantasy points in his last two games, turning into more of a catch-and-shoot player. He’s getting good looks in these last two games, but he needs 5+ rebounds to truly maximize his value. He had 30.25 fantasy points in 26 minutes against Utah on Wednesday. He’s still a bit risky given that he’s posted a dud rating in 23 percent of games this year and has only been 10+ fantasy points over value in two contests. ***
Wilson Chandler, DEN at GS ($4,500): Chandler’s salary is still far too low given how he’s played in recent weeks. He had 36.25 fantasy points on Friday against the Trail Blazers and had been over 25 fantasy points in five of his last six. Even when he’s not scoring, he’s contributing with rebounds or assists. He struggled on Nov. 4 against the Warriors, posting just nine fantasy points in 20 minutes. The matchup is tough as the Warriors are 10th against the position in their last 15 games. However, Chandler has proven to be reliable lately and can hit well over value. ****
Lance Stephenson, IND vs BKN ($4,400): Stephenson has hit value in six of his last seven games. He’s hit value in 72 percent of games since Nov., proving to be a reliable play after his early season struggles. He’s also shown the ability jump to 30+ fantasy points on any given night. The Pacers are one of the few teams not playing on a back-to-back, so they should have fresh legs against a Nets team that played and then had to travel on Friday night. Stephenson can do a little bit of everything and I like him at 7+ fantasy points over value. He’s a steal at the price and a good cost saving option. *****
HM: Rondae Hollis-Jefferson ($6,200)
