It will be Week 16 in the NFL this weekend. One game that will be going on between two playoff contenders will feature the Los Angeles Rams (10-4) and the Tennessee Titans (8-6). Kickoff from Nissan Stadium in Nashville will be at 1:00 p.m. ET on Dec. 24.
Los Angeles enters play at 10-4 on the year and in first place in the NFC West. The Rams would be the No. 3 seed in the NFC playoff picture if the season ended after Week 15. Los Angeles has a two-game lead over the Seattle Seahawks (8-6) in the NFC West. With one more win, the Rams will clinch their first playoff berth since the 2004 NFL season.
Tennessee enters play at 8-6 on the year and in second place in the AFC South. The Titans would be the No. 5 seed in the AFC playoff picture if the season ended after Week 15. Tennessee is two games back of the Jacksonville Jaguars (10-4) in the AFC West. Tennessee has two tough games remaining, but both are at home. If the Titans take a game between the Rams and Jaguars, then Tennessee will be back in the AFC playoffs for the first time since 2008.
