Store Christmas Eve hours 2017: Is Walgreens open?

If you need to pick up some last minute gifts or a few household items, you’ll be happy to hear Walgreens has you covered on Christmas Eve.

It always seems that as soon as the holidays arrive and the stores close, something comes up and you need to make a last minute purchase. Whether it’s a gift, toiletries, cold and allergy medicine or even a bottle of wine for the hostess, Walgreens has you covered.

Walgreens has really come into its own as a destination for gifts. With lots of name brands to choose from, along with exclusive Walgreens edition toys and collectibles, there is something for everyone at the store. There are lots of perfume gift sets for her and colognes for him, along with just about anything else you might want to buy.

It’s also nice to know Walgreens is open during the holidays when you have kids who might come down with a late night illness, or if your allergies flare up thanks to Aunt Edna’s cat. Walgreens has you covered there, too. There’s also the benefit of being able to find things you left at home, like makeup or socks.

For those shoppers and travelers who need to pick up items left behind (especially when your luggage ends up in a different location than you did) Walgreens is a good option, but if you’re looking for prescription medications to be filled, you should call ahead to confirm pharmacy hours. While stores are mostly open 24 hours on the holidays, that doesn’t mean that the pharmacy is as well.
