It’s the game everyone is waiting for. What time do the Cavaliers and Warriors kick off their Christmas Day grudge match?

It’s the Finals rematch that keeps on rematching. Warriors. Cavaliers. LeBron. Durant. Curry (maybe not this year). Love. Thompson. Thompson. Draymond. Shumpert. You get the idea.

The Warriors and the Cavaliers have played in three straight NBA Finals, they have become the premier rivalry in the NBA and, once again, they’ll be occupying the prime slot in the NBA’s five-game Christmas Day slate this year.

Tipoff is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. ET on Dec. 25 at Oracle Arena in Oakland California. This game will be broadcast on ABC so NBA League Pass won’t cover you (for this or any other Christmas Day games this year).

The Cavaliers have bounced back from a rough start to the season, ripping off a 13-game winning streak that ended earlier this month. LeBron is having another MVP-caliber season, Kevin Love has been terrific and Dwyane Wade has settled into a very effective stint as the back-up point guard. The return of Isaiah Thomas is just over the horizon and the Cavaliers have their sights set on another Finals berth.

The Warriors are again rolling at the top of the West, although injuries have forced them to adapt this season. Stephen Curry and Draymond Green had combined to miss 14 games heading into the weekend, but a revamped bench and a scorching hot streak from Kevin Durant have kept them from missing a beat.

This game may not have the juice of a Finals game, but neither team likes the other and both will be looking to build some momentum for whenever they meet next. This is as good as it gets. The trolling will be fantastic and the basketball should be pretty good too.
