Wintercon is a far cry from New York Comic Con. It’s a much more casual affair, and frankly a lot less stressful. But oh so much fun. The convention also offered some pretty cool experiences.
Fan of the original Blade Runner? Film stars Rutger Hauer, Sean Young, and William Sanderson were in attendance and talked about their experience in the groundbreaking movie. Remember the sci-fi class Buck Rogers? Stars Gil Gerard, Erin Gray, Thom Christopher, and Felix Silla also got together for a 25th anniversary of the show. And Julian Glover — who has appeared in practically every awesome franchise series there is (Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Harry Potter, James Bond, Game of Thrones) — spoke in his own panel about his decades in Hollywood, often with hilarious results, was a true delight to listen to.
But of course with any con are the out-of-this-world cosplay and take the chance to dress up as their favorite characters deadly serious. We couldn’t resist snapping away with all their awesomeness. Take a look at the following gallery to see some to-die-for cosplay.
