Boxing Day is finally here and boy are fans of the Premier League in for a treat. Bournemouth have had a difficult start to the season and are drifting perilously close to the relegation zone. As the second half of the season begins, they’re desperate for points. It’s still early enough in the season for the Cherries to steer well clear of the relegation battle, but games against other bottom half sides will be crucial.

West Ham also had a bad start, but have improved since they replaced Slaven Bilic with David Moyes. The Hammers were in the relegation zone at one point, but Moyes has made the team harder to beat and gotten the best out of, among others, Marko Arnautovic, who cost the club a lot of money over the summer. Their win against Chelsea earlier this month was the highlight, but it reflected a more general improvement under Moyes. West Ham were also unfortunate to lose against Manchester City after taking the lead and drew 0-0 with Arsenal. If the maintain their recent form, they should have no problem finishing comfortably mid-table.
