FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 27, 2017
High Salary PG
Russell Westbrook, OKC vs TOR ($11,600): Westbrook has had a fantastic December, never falling three fantasy points below value in any contest. He’s been over 55 fantasy points in five straight. The Raptors are tenth against the position in their last 15 games. Given that they’re up against Westbrook, that matters little. He puts up numbers in all categories and has the ability to put up big numbers in points and rebounds. The Raptors are on a back-to-back where they did not look good against the Mavericks. If they they show any sign of fatigue, Westbrook’s energy will be too much for them. *****
John Wall, WAS at ATL ($8,700): Wall looked the best he’s looked on Monday since returning from injury. He had 50 fantasy points against a tough Celtics team. Now, he faces the league-worst Hawks. He had 33.5 fantasy points in a route against Atlanta on Nov. 11. That’s really the only concern in this one. Wall is going to produce for as long as he plays, he just may not play his typical 32+ minutes if the Wizards run away with this one quickly. ****
Kyrie Irving, BOS at CHA ($8,600): Irving missed value on Monday, collecting just 30.3 fantasy points in a loss to the Wizards. The last time he played the Hornets, he left the game in the opening minutes with a facial injury. Prior to Monday, Irving had been over 40 fantasy points in three straight contests. The Hornets are 25th against the position in their last 15 games. The Hornets are a better team as home, but I like Irving to have a bounce back game, especially given the matchup. I like him to be back around 40 fantasy points in this one. ****
