Thursday afternoon’s Virginia vs. Navy 2017 Military Bowl matchup will be intriguing and here’s how you can watch online.

Navy didn’t quite end the season the way it had hoped. The Midshipmen came into the season with high hopes, started the year 5-0, including a blowout win over Lane Kiffin’s FAU Owls, and found a way to nearly missing a bowl game.

The Midshipmen finished just 6-6 after losing six of seven games to end the year. Starting quarterback Zach Abey who has attempted just 10 total passes over the last three games, but he leads the team in rushing. He passed for 805 yards and seven touchdowns and rushed for another 1,325 yards and 14 scores on the year.

As for Virginia, Bronco Mendenhall has brought this team back to relevance in the ACC — nearly pulling off a couple of big upsets. They, too, ended the season on a sour note, losing five of six teams to end the year with a 6-6 record.

Senior quarterback Kurt Benkert had an impressive season, passing for over 3,000 yards and 25 touchdowns, smashing previous career-highs. The Cavaliers benefitted from the senior’s surprising play, making the postseason even after losing for most of the final six weeks of action.
