Live stream info and how to watch online as the Virginia Tech Hokies meet the Oklahoma State Cowboys in the Camping World Bowl.
Oklahoma State and Virginia Tech are set to clash in one of the most underrated matchups of the 2017 bowl season in the Camping World Bowl. Both the Cowboys and Hokies entertained conference championship hopes during the regular season and even flirted with playoff contention before finishing with identical 9-3 overall records. Both teams also feature talented rosters with at least one potential first round NFL Draft pick.
Mason Rudolph quarterback Mason Rudolph will take the field for the final time in an Oklahoma State uniform after amassing 13,267 career passing yards and 90 touchdowns in three-plus seasons as a starter. The 6-foot-5, 230-pound senior led the nation with 4,553 passing yards during the regular season and connected with his talented receiving corps for 35 touchdowns while being intercepted nine times. He also scored 10 times on the ground.
James Washington, the 2017 Biletnikoff Award winner as the top receiver in college football and a unanimous All-American selection, was on the receiving end of 12 touchdowns as a senior. Washington led the team with 69 receptions for 1,423 yards – an explosive 20.6-yard average. The 6-foot-2 wideout paired with fellow senior Marcell Ateman (54 receptions, 1,049 yards, 8 TD) to form one of the top pass-catching duos in the nation.
Rudolph, Washington and Ateman all have first round potential, and along with running back Justice Hill, who ran for 1,347 yards and 14 TDs, Oklahoma State has one of the top offenses in the country.

However, Virginia Tech offers a challenge not often found in the Cowboys’ Big 12 home. The Hokies, led by legendary defensive coordinator Bud Foster and potential first round linebacker Tremaine Edmunds, currently rank fifth nationally in scoring defense (13.5 points allowed per game), No. 11 in FBS in total defense (305.3 yards allowed per game) and No. 17 in yards allowed per play (4.85). Nevertheless, the Hokies are a six-point underdog in the game, according to Odds Shark.
