Fiorentina face AC Milan at Artemio Franchi Stadium on Saturday, Dec. 30. Here’s all the info you need to watch. 

Fiorentina and AC Milan are separated by two points in the Serie A table. However, the perception of their seasons are very different. Fiorentina are battling for a spot in Europe, and are eighth in the league with 26 points. While Milan are one of the most disappointing teams in Europe. After entering the season with the goal of qualifying for Champions League, Milan are 11th in Serie A with 24 points.

Fiorentina have picked up points in six straight games, however, they have only two wins and 10 points over that stretch. Manager Stefano Pioli has his side playing well defensively, the Lillies have allowed the fifth fewest goals in Serie A. Giovanni Simeone, the son of Atletico Madrid Manager Diego Simeone, leads all Fiorentina players with five goals and four assists. Fiorentina are ninth in Serie A with 27 goals, however, they have four players with at least four goals.

AC Milan continue to fall down the table under interim manager Gennaro Gattuso. Under Gattuso, Milan have four points in four games, losing their past two games. AC Milan are the only team to drop points to last place Benevento. In their last two games, Milan lost 3-0 to 19th place Verona and 2-0 to Atalanta. The signing of Leonardo Bonucci was supposed to improve Milan’s defense, however, the club has allowed the 11th most goals in Serie A. After being shutout the past two games, Milan have dropped to 11th in goals, with Suso leading the club in goals. Suso will return to the AC Milan starting XI after missing the previous game with a red card suspension.
