The Toronto Raptors will host the Atlanta Hawks on Friday night. Here is how to watch this Eastern Conference NBA game online via live streaming.

Friday night will see 18 of the NBA’s 30 teams in action, including the Hawks and Raptors, who will square off in Toronto.

Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. EST on December 29, 2017 at the Air Canada Centre. The home Raptors broadcast will air on The Sports Network while Fox Sports Southeast—Atlanta will carry the visiting Hawks’ feed. The game can also be streamed live online via NBA League Pass or on FuboTV.

These two clubs have had divergent seasons, to say the least. After making the playoffs in 10 consecutive years and just three seasons removed from a 60-win season, the Hawks (9-25) have fallen into the very pits of the NBA and appear primed for their first high draft pick in years. Dennis Schröder continues to lead Atlanta’s offense with almost 20 points and seven assists per game. Second-year wing Taurean Prince has come into his own while rookie big man John Collins is an energetic and unforgiving presence on the glass.

The Raptors, meanwhile, currently sport the second-best record in the Eastern Conference and despite having similar personnel to years past, this team has a different feel this season. Toronto ranks in the top six in both offense and defense and has taken a more modern approach to its offensive system. DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry lead the way with 24 and 16 points per game, respectively, and both should garner strong All-Star consideration from fans, media and coaches. A deep bench and a solid cast of role players has made the Raptors a more well-rounded team this season.

The Raptors have lost two consecutive games after a six-game win streak momentarily boosted them to first place in the East, and Friday night represents a good opportunity to get back into the win column against a fairly uninspiring Hawks team. Atlanta, though feisty, is likely best served losing games at this point and gunning for a top-three pick in a heavily front-loaded draft class.
