Live stream info and how to watch online as the Kentucky Wildcats square off with the Northwestern Wildcats in the Music City Bowl
The Northwestern Wildcats travel to Nashville riding a seven-game winning streak, when they will face the 7-5 Kentucky Wildcats. Northwestern has an opportunity to win 10 games for the third time since 2012 – a once unheard of string of success for a program that had reached double-digits just once in its history before head coach Pat Fitzgerald (who, of course, was part of that magical 1995 Rose Bowl squad) took the job.
Justin Jackson, who ran for 1,154 yards and nine touchdowns during the regular season, enters the bowl game with 5,283 rushing yards and 39 TDs. The senior, one of a select few with four 1,000-yard seasons in his college career, aims end with a bang. He comes in with three 100-yard games in his last four contests.
The Northwestern offense, which ranked fourth in the Big Ten scoring 29.7 points per game, also has the benefit of quarterback Clayton Thorson, who completed 60.6 percent of his passes for 2,809 yards and 15 touchdowns with 12 interceptions. A 6-foot-4, 225-pound junior, Thorson has an NFL frame and the talent to play at the next level, but has already announced he will return to school for his senior season.
Other pro prospects to watch for the Wildcats include safety Godwin Igwebuike, defensive tackle Tyler Lancaster, center Brad North and slot Garrett Dickerson.

According to Odds Shark, Northwestern is a 7.5-point favorite to win, but the Wildcats are no pushover. Kentucky running back Benny Snell, Jr. is one of the best in the SEC. Snell ran for 1,318 yards and leading the league with 18 TDs on the ground. The sophomore has been a major reason UK is back in a bowl game for the second straight season.
