High Value SG

J.J. Redick, PHI at PHO ($5,400): Redick barely missed value on Saturday against Denver. The return of Joel Embiid will help Redick’s value as he frees up Redick for cleaner looks beyond the arc. Redick had 28.7 fantasy points against the Suns back on Dec. 4. That number would put him nicely over value on Sunday. If Ben Simmons could get it going again, that would certainly help Redick’s value as well. Even with Simmons struggling, Redick is a reliable play thanks to his shooting ability in the Sixers offense. ***

Jamal Crawford, MIN at IND ($4,000): I only like Crawford if it’s determined that Andrew Wiggins is unable to suit up. If Wiggins can’t go, it’s likely that Crawford will see most of those minutes, even if he’s not the starter. If Crawford plays 30+ minutes, he’s going to get a ton of shots and assist opportunities. He had 35.5 fantasy points against the Pacers back in October. The Pacers are a better team since then, but are still without Victor Oladipo. If Wiggins plays, you can avoid Crawford, but if Wiggins doesn’t play, take him and expect him to be well over value. *****

Wesley Matthews, DAL at OKC ($4,800): Matthews has been inconsistent this season, hitting value in 57 percent of games, but posting a dud rating in 30 percent of contests. Matthews value is really determined by the statuses of Andre Roberson and Paul George for the Thunder. If both players are out, Matthews is going to see a lot of deep looks from three. Role players typically kill the Thunder from beyond the arc and Matthews certainly has that ability. If one or both guys play for Oklahoma City, I don’t like Matthews quite as much. *****

HM: Caris LeVert ($5,800)
