High Salary C

Karl-Anthony Towns, MIN vs LAL ($9,700): Towns cracked the 50-point fantasy mark for the first time since Dec. 16 when he had 59 fantasy points against the Pacers on Sunday. He had 47.5 fantasy points against the Lakers a week ago. The Lakers are 29th against the position in their last 15 games, so this a great and proven matchup for Towns. He’s hit value just one out of six times in back-to-back situations, which is the only concern in this one, especially because he played 38 minutes on Sunday. ***

Jusuf Nurkic, POR at CHI ($6,800): It looks like Nurkic has turned a small corner based on his last two games. He followed up his 42.5 fantasy point game with 33.75 fantasy points in 24 minutes against the Hawks. It’s reasonable to still be weary of the Portland center given that he’s been at value in just 47 percent of games this season. With the Bulls on a back-to-back, I like Nurkic to be slightly over value, trusting that he’s figured things out to a certain extent. ****

High Value C

Taj Gibson, MIN vs LAL ($5,700): Gibson had 36.25 fantasy points against the Lakers a week ago and is coming off a 32.75 fantasy point game against the Pacers. He’s a double-double threat on most nights and the fact that his minutes were down is a good sign on the back-to-back. ***

Bismack Biyombo, ORL at BKN ($5,600): Biyombo followed up his 32.75 fantasy point game by being .25 fantasy points better against the Heat. He’s had double-digit rebounds in all three starts since Nikola Vucevic went down with injury and a two straight double-doubles. He’ll continue to see big minutes and contribute in the rebounding and defensive department. ****
