Georgia Bulldog players are stunned, but happy to be heading home to try to win a National Championship.

The Georgia Bulldogs pulled off something that many thought was impossible, and the players themselves are realizing that, too.

Not many gave the Bulldogs a chance to beat Baker Mayfield and the Oklahoma Sooners. They had a true freshman at QB, so why would Georgia ever have a shot at beating the more experienced Sooners?

Well, that’s the magic of college football. Everyone can be beaten.

When the game was over, the Bulldog players themselves seemed stunned that they accomplished the impossible. Just check out the video below to see the stunned jubilation of a team that had to come back from 16-points down, then allowed a late-touchdown that sent the game into overtime, just to head back to their home state to play for the right to be called “National Champs.”

If you’re wondering, yes, that is Quavo from the hip-hop supergroup Migos, who cheering hard for his Bulldogs.

Heck, the whole nation was cheering hard for this team. Everyone loves an underdog and Georgia fit that bill quite nicely. Head over to the Bulldog’s Twitter page and you will see even more of the jubilation that filled the field at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena on New Year’s Day.

I mean, seriously, how many college football teams can actually say that they will have the chance to be crowned National Champions in their home state? You have to fall in love with the Bulldogs unless you’re a Sooners fan or an Alabama fan. Then I can understand why you’re not jumping for joy over the Bulldogs dramatic win in Southern California.

Looking at the scene after one of the best college football games in recent memory, it feels good to know that the underdog gets to live to fight another day.
