High Salary C

Marc Gasol, MEM at LAC ($8,000): Gasol has played less than 30 minutes in his last two games and is coming off a season low 21.5 fantasy point game against the Kings. With a day of rest, one would hope that Gasol will be back up to his normal minutes. He had 47.25 fantasy points against the Clippers on Dec. 23. The Clippers are 27th against the position in their last 15 games, so this is favorable matchup for the Memphis center. He should be over value (36.3 fantasy points) on Tuesday. ****

Dwight Howard, CHA at SAC ($7,400): Howard has just 21 fantasy points in 34 minutes against the Clippers on New Years Eve. That was a good matchup for the Hornets big man, so those numbers are even more disappointing. He has another good matchup on Tuesday as the Kings are 22nd against the position in their last 15 games. Howard can still be dominating in the paint and on the boards when he’s on his game. ****

Pau Gasol, SA at NY ($6,900): After four straight games of 40+ fantasy points, Gasol had just 20.5 fantasy points against the Pistons. His minutes were down in that one, but they should be back up against the Knicks and their stable of frontcourt players. Gasol had 43.25 fantasy points against the Knicks on Dec. 28. 40+ fantasy points may be asking too much, but he should be around 35 fantasy points in this one. ****
